Meta ads

Facebook & Instagram ads for contractors.

Homeowners don't search for a contractor until something breaks — but they scroll past your work every day. Meta ads put your best jobs in front of the people most likely to need you next.

$500 setup + $500/month management. Ad spend is paid directly to Meta from your own account — never marked up.

The problem

Why most contractor Facebook ads don't work

Meta is not Google. Nobody opens Facebook looking for an excavator — which means the ads that work there are built completely differently. Most contractor campaigns fail because they treat social like search.

Boosted posts instead of campaigns

Hitting "boost" buys likes from people who will never hire you. Real campaigns are built around lead forms, targeting and follow-up — not engagement.

Stock photos that fool nobody

Homeowners can smell a stock photo. Your actual before-and-after work is the most persuasive creative you own, and most contractors never use it.

No second chance at visitors

Most people who visit your website leave without calling. Without retargeting, that visitor is gone forever instead of seeing your work again next week.

Meta won't replace search for emergency work. What it does is fill the pipeline for planned projects — the patios, remodels and replacements people think about for months before they call anyone.

What’s included

What the service covers

Creative from your real work, campaigns built for leads, and follow-up that doesn't let interest go cold.

Before-and-after creative

Your job-site photos turned into ads that stop the scroll — real work, real transformations, no stock imagery.

Lead form campaigns

In-app lead forms that let a homeowner request an estimate without ever leaving Facebook or Instagram.

Retargeting

People who visited your site or engaged with your page see your ads again, so interest turns into a call instead of fading.

Local targeting

Ads shown to homeowners in the towns you actually work in — not the whole state, not everyone who likes tools.

Instant lead delivery

Every lead reaches you by text and email the moment it comes in, so you can respond while the interest is warm.

Monthly reporting

Leads, cost per lead and what the creative is doing — reported plainly, with the next month's plan.

How it works

How a campaign gets built

Your work is the raw material. We handle everything after the photo.

  1. 1

    Gather the work

We start with your best before-and-after photos and the jobs you want more of. If your photo library is thin, we'll show you what to capture.

  2. 2

    Build and launch

Creative, audiences, lead forms and tracking are set up in an account you own, then campaigns go live in your service area.

  3. 3

    Test and tune

Different photos, headlines and audiences compete. Winners get budget, losers get cut, and cost per lead improves month over month.

Where Meta fits next to Google

Google captures demand that already exists — the homeowner searching right now. Meta creates it. The homeowner scrolling past your patio transformation in March is the same person who searches “patio contractor near me” in May, and they are far more likely to call the name they recognize. The two channels feed each other, which is exactly why they run together in Growth Engine.

Meta also reaches the jobs search never sees. Nobody googles “should I replace my deck this year,” but they will absolutely stop scrolling for a gorgeous deck rebuild two towns over. For planned, considered projects — the high-ticket work with long decision cycles — that early visibility is often the difference between making the shortlist and never knowing the job existed.

Maas Concrete — concrete construction

The rebuilt Maas Concrete website shown on desktop, tablet and phone

Starting point. Maas Concrete had a weak, outdated website, a Google Business Profile that was not fully optimized, and Meta ads that were spending budget without producing qualified concrete leads.

What we built. A modern conversion-focused website, a fully optimized Google Business Profile, and Meta ad campaigns rebuilt around actual job inquiries rather than clicks alone.

What the numbers said

The old site took 6.7 seconds to load on mobile. The contact form converted only 8% of starters. The GBP was incomplete, and the Meta ads were optimized for traffic, not for leads.

Five leads a month was not enough to support the growth they were capable of. The budget was there; it was just leaking out in the wrong places.

What we built

A faster, simpler website designed to turn a visitor into a call or form submission. A Google Business Profile with complete information, photos, and review generation. And Meta ads restructured around lead forms and calls, with landing pages that matched the ad promise.

Meta works best once your Google presence is solid — it catches the demand search creates. That's why it lives in Growth Engine rather than Lead Engine.

FAQ

Questions about meta ads

Do Facebook ads actually work for contractors?
For planned projects, yes — patios, fences, remodels, replacements. A homeowner dreaming about a new deck will engage with a great before-and-after for weeks before they're ready to call. For emergency work, search ads are the right tool; that's why the two channels run together in Growth Engine.
I don't have good photos. Can I still run ads?
Yes. We'll show you exactly what to capture on the job — it's usually thirty seconds with your phone before you pack up. A few weeks of that habit builds a creative library most competitors would envy.
How much should I budget for ad spend?
It depends on your market and the jobs you're chasing, but Meta clicks are generally cheaper than Google. We'll recommend a number after seeing your area — and the spend goes directly to Meta from your account, never marked up.
What is retargeting and why does it matter?
Retargeting shows your ads to people who already visited your website or interacted with your page. Most visitors don't call on the first visit — retargeting gives you the second and third touch that turns browsing into an estimate request.
Who owns the ad account?
You do. It's set up under your business with your billing, and every campaign, audience and piece of data stays with you if we ever part ways.
